The freshman class spent all of Wednesday, March 2 with the Peer Team, working on team building activities in the gymnasium. The Peer Team led the ninth graders in challenge activities intended to draw the ninth grade students closer together.

Gio Cavalli, a freshman who participated in the event, said, “It helped [the students] to work together. The kids got to know each other better. We found out who was a leader, and who was good at socializing.”

Nicole Jones, a senior Peer Team member, said, “It was very cool. The [students] were very into it.”

Due to the success of the challenge activities, the ninth graders had an opportunity to further increase the comradery within the class.
