Boys Soccer loses to Amherst
The Mount Greylock Boys’ varsity soccer team suffered a disappointing loss to the Amherst Hurricanes on Monday afternoon. The Mounties (2-1-1) lost 5-1 to the strong Hurricane team. The Mounties’ lone goal came in the 67th minute from Brady Foehl, assisted by his younger brother Toby Foehl. Said Brady Foehl of the loss, “we didn’t play great but we’re going to forget about it and move on and work to get better.” That is the mentality that has made the boys’ soccer team so successful. Brady Foehl added that the team’s next match will be a challenge. The Mounties lost to Longmeadow last year 1-0, and they travel to Longmeadow on Saturday.
