GSA Hosts Game Day
Last Tuesday, December 18, the school cafeteria was transformed into a game center as the Gender Sexuality Alliance held their first Game Day of the academic year. The GSA strives to make everyone in the school community welcome to their events. On this fun afternoon, the club arranged a variety of activities, from card games like UNO to other classics like Twister, Charades, and Candy Land.
All GSA events are free and open to students in every grade. Tuesday’s event drew about thirty students and made for a fun afternoon, according to many of the attendees. “It’s just cool to see a bunch of people from the school get together to play games,” said Tarryn Gaherty, the Vice President of GSA. Faith Carl, a seventh grade student, said, “I was invited by some of my friends and I had a really good time.”
GSA meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. All students are welcome.
