The volleyball team has beat Mount Anthony, but have come up short against Lee, Lenox, and Amherst. All three captains agreed the biggest challenge for the team this year is losing four key starting seniors, and that this year is about rebuilding. However, they team still has some key returning players. Said senior captain Taylor Hoffstedt,  “We lost two All-Berkshire first team players, and Dagny Albano who had 1,000 career assists, so our team is very young this year.” Captains Maddie Albert and Marley Buffis shared the team’s serving and hitters really helped bring home the win tonight, specifically junior Kat Hoffstedt. When asked what the team needs to improve on most, Buffis stated “We need to improve our communicating but other than that, we are playing pretty well.” Coach Albert said the top three players of the game were Maddie Albert with 27 assists, Taylor Hoffstedt with 18 kills, and Katrina Hoffstedt with 9 aces. The team will be back in action at Taconic on Friday, the 22nd.
