This Tuesday, the Mount Greylock golf team defeated Hoosac Valley with a final score of 174-176 at Waubeeka Golf Links. Earlier in the season, Hoosac gave Greylock their first and only loss to date. Greylock’s win even the score with Hoosac, ending Hoosac’s previously perfect season.

Both junior captian Ben Gilooly and senior Tenley Smith earned co-medalists honors with rounds of 40s. Gilooly birdied the second hole and junior Connor Daley birdied the seventh.

After qualifying for Western Mass, Gilooly commented on some of the goals the team still has, “keep the winning streak up and go from there.”

They travel to Taconic High School on Thursday the 28th.
